Lovely note by James Crabtree at VoxP on a new document out this week (from the Cabinet Office) covering “how e-democracy could help certain groups of people who may currently be excluded from the democratic processes” …
There is some more encouraging news hidden thereabouts: a generally positive response to the idea of electronic voting, and easier routes to contact decision makers when it matters … [and] … well worth a read, not least to show quite how unrealistic it is to suggest that eDemocracy can engage the unengaged, rather than making it easier for the already engaged
